I'm practicing my shading. It was fun to do something black and white. I have to say I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. It also didn't hurt that its a phantom of the opera scene, that's always my favorite kind to do. :)
I showed my mom a still frame of this picture that I wanted to paint. She just gave me a skeptical, doubting look and said, "You sure you can do that?" Ye of little faith. When I showed her the finished product she conceded that I was getting much better. I surprised everyone, including myself.
